Governing Rules
No pretense is made of having designed a fool-proof set of rules and regulations. The track committee has the last word. Listed below are some outstanding rules:
Drivers are responsible for the control and actions of their pit crew members. Unacceptable actions of crew members may subject the driver to disqualification to an event.
Practice Policy - - If an entrant does not participate in assigned practice period the race director may decide to start that participant in the rear in his/her next event.
Novices - - A driver with less than 3 races of experience anywhere must place a brightly colored "X" on rear of kart and start heats & race at rear.
Release must be signed before entering race track. Release is good for entire season.
Please put used oil in the disposal containers.
No one allowed on grid except official.
One parent per plate racer allowed on track.
Stay off track during any cautions.
After market rods allowed in all classes.
Leave track SLOW.
Numbers go on left panel of kart.
Cut off engines before crossing scales.
Top 3 go immediately to impound.
Protest sheets in tech shed. Racer can only protest kart that finishes directly in front of him.
BRAKE rotor cover: A flat metal disc ("Wolf plate") between the seat & brake rotor is mandatory.
Must finish 1/2 way of main to collect money.
Must meet all safety tech guidelines.
All karts must be safety teched before heats start & weighed after each heat & main unless otherwise instructed.
Flags - -
Green - Begin Racing
Yellow - Caution on track, all karts must slow and maintain position - DO NOT pass with yellow flag out.
Crossed Flags - Half way point of the race.
Black -Rolled flag & pointed means warning about driver conduct. Full black flag -racer is to immediately leave the track.
Blue with Yellow stripe - is to move over to allow faster karts to pass.
White - One lap remaining in race.
Checkered Flag - Winner and race is over.
Red - Stop immediately. (no adjustments are allowed during a red flag unless race director sees need for safety reasons.
Safety
Rules apply to all racers
Personal - Helmet, neck brace, long sleeves, long pants & gloves are all required.
Karts - All weights must be painted white with your number in another color and fastened with a min. 5/16" diameter bolt and double nutted to the kart. Weights mounted to nerf bars and bumpers are prohibited. Weights may be mounted inside front bumper if a nose cone is used. Methanol fuel only. Fuel is subject to be teched in all classes. Always leave track slowly. Each kart team will have a working fire extinguisher. No flashing lights on valve stems! "Puke tank" CANNOT be on the outside of the chassis. "Wolf plates" are required for safety purposes. Chain guards are important! Make sure every bolt is either cotter keyed and/or lock nuts applied! THESE RULES ARE FOR YOUR SAFETY & YOUR FELLOW RACERS!!!
Our pits are not hot pits. karts are not allowed to be driven to the grid or away from the scale - impound area.
NO OPEN FLAMES IN THE PIT AREA!!!!!
Racing
There will be 10 laps in both heats or 10 minutes and 20 laps in the main event or 20 minutes (with the exception of Rookie Purple - 10 lap main or less than 4 karts any class) Flag rules apply in all events. Karts will line up and crank on the grid and enter the track, race ready. If after 2 green flags we have not secured a clean start karts will be single filed to start. Always signal with hand if slowing down to leave the track or yellow flag. If your kart is not running properly pull onto the infield or leave the track. Remember to signal. Do not call any of your pit crew to track. No one allowed to stay in the infield during races except for rookies may have one (1) adult. Every kart is to go to the scales after each heat race and main event.
We will give 2 minutes to a driver on the track to get his ride back in competition, if you have a malfunction due to altercation on track but you must inform a track official you want the 2 minute drill. Safety issues must be cleared by a track official during a race.
Extended yellow periods, we will make sure everyone has enough fuel to complete the race.
NO passing under caution.
If caution comes out--lead karts that pass under green flag before caution flag falls will keep their position.
Corner marshals yellow flags with green light still on means use caution while racing.
3 self-induced spin outs...leave the track.
If you loose any functional part of kart or foreign object (tools) or you have a safety issue (oil or methanol leak) during a race leave the track.
"Happy cap" fuel caps allowed.

The track will have a tech person available for racers to protest. Tech receives 20% of ALL PROTESTS.
Stock full tear down. $100
Protest for Carb. $30
Protest for Head & Carb. $50

Protest must be made by driver directly behind protested kart. Protest must be submitted in writing (forms furnished in tech building) within 10 minutes of main event. Winners will be subject to tech at every race at the tracks discretion. All karts go directly to scales.
Stock drivers if you have to make a motor change between heats and main events report to tech or it could result is disqualification for the night in every class entered. Both motors are subject to tech.
PRERACE FUEL TECH AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
CHALLENGE RUNS ON POSTED DATES
Racers must be present to receive winnings or forfeit at all events.
